Understanding the Sales Dashboard

Learn how to read the cumulative sales chart, compare to the previous month, interpret the forecast line, navigate between months, and print PDF reports.

1

The cumulative sales chart

The heart of the Dashboard is the Monthly Cumulative Sales chart. It plots your store's running total of closed/delivered deals day by day through the month โ€” so you can see momentum at a glance rather than just a final number.

Live chart โ€” this month vs. last month + forecast

๐Ÿ’ก TipThe chart only counts Closed and Delivered deals. Pending deals don't move the line.
2

This month vs. previous month

Two lines are always drawn side by side:

Green โ€” This Month (solid)

Your actual cumulative units from Day 1 up to today. Gaps past 'Today' mean the day hasn't happened yet.

Blue โ€” Previous Month

The same cumulative view for the month before. Instantly shows whether you're tracking ahead or behind last month at the same point.

Green dashed โ€” Forecast

Projects your pace from today to month-end based on your daily average so far this month.

Gold dot โ€” Best Day

Marks the single day with the most deals closed in that month โ€” one marker per line. Hover it to see the count.

๐Ÿ“Œ NoteHover over any point on the chart to see a side-by-side tooltip: this month's cumulative, that day's count, and the previous month's cumulative on the same calendar day.
3

Navigating between months

Use the โ† โ†’ arrows in the chart header to flip back through previous months. The right arrow is disabled when you're already on the current month. This lets you pull up any prior month's chart without leaving the Dashboard.

Printing deals to PDF

Admins see a Print Store Deals button in the top-right of the Dashboard. Salespeople with a linked account see Print My Deals. Both open the same print modal where you configure your report before generating the PDF.

5

Choosing period & grouping for the PDF

Inside the print modal you have two controls:

Sort / Group Deals By

Choose how deals are organized in the PDF: by Salesperson (one section per rep), by Date (chronological), or by Vehicle Type (New vs. Used). This changes the grouping headers in the printed output.

Report Period

Select one or more calendar months. You can combine months โ€” e.g. select May + June + July to print a quarter. The date range shown in the modal header updates as you pick.

๐Ÿ“Œ NoteThe PDF opens directly in your browser's print dialog. Use your browser's "Save as PDF" option to download it.
